From the collection of:
Overview
We start with the cabin cruiser setting off onto the river passing other boats still at their moorings. After Hampton Court Bridge we cruise past the river's many islands enjoying the lovely scenery. After the weir at Hampton Court we return to the bridge where a diver is at work. A capsized canoeist is seen in the water as we glide past a decorated long boat.Moving through a lock we then see a variety of house boats moored along the river bank before ending at another lock.
Jim Greenyer, who made this film, worked in a photographic shop in Hove. He was a long-time member of the Hove Camera Club and also belonged to the Albany Cine Club.
