Overview
Hounslowβs Osterley Park stately home was used to train drivers for the Army Service Corps during the First World War, but here we see another use β growing vegetables on waste ground for soldiersβ meals. Men are shown hoeing land, before a rich crop of what appear to be sprouts is held up for the admiration of viewers.
