Taken on the set of The Madwoman of Chaillot at the Victorine Studios in Nice in 1968, this home movie by director Bryan Forbes takes a peek behind the scenes with stars including Katharine Hepburn. The unit's stills photographer - clearly becoming irritated with the sun - arranges the line-up of the all-star cast for the film's main publicity still, while the actors do their best to keep still in the sunshine. Away from the set, the Forbes' children, Sarah and Emma, play on the beach at Nice.
The feature film The Madwoman of Chaillot was an adaptation of a play by Jean Giraudoux written in 1943.
