Keep Wales Tidy! Thatβs the message for everyone, not just the children who are seen here attacking the litter in a Conwy Castle picnic area.

Overview
Love your litter β give it a good home in a bin. Thatβs the message behind the βKeep Wales Tidyβ campaign. And although children are seen here collecting the rubbish discarded in a picnic area at Conwy Castle, this public information film makes clear that litter is everyoneβs responsibility β clearing up should not be left to children alone.
The Ministry of Information, producing films/leaflets that warned the British public of dangers and provided advice and propaganda during WWII, was disbanded with the arrival of peace but replaced by the Central Office of Information, so that the government could continue to disseminate advice and guidance on any number of issues e.g. the new national health service, education, rights. The National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales holds a number of such films β 1970s βfillersβ for use in the cinema or on television - that were provided with Welsh language sound tracks.
