The BFI’s Chinese Britain on Film collection charts the history of Chinese representation in British cinema, from silent tales of sensational exoticism to more authentic self-portraits by contemporary Chinese-British filmmakers. BFI Curator Dylan Cave, filmmaker/novelist Xiaolu Guo (She, a Chinese) and screenwriter Selina Lim (Painkiller) introduce the collection.
