Overview
This home movie begins with a parade on Green Lanes for an unspecified event. Participants include a knight, a mermaid, Southendβs Kursaal Flyer steam train float and a giant milk bottle designed to look like a space ship, complete with silver-suited alien. Includes great, lively street scenes. The rest of the film shows the Davis family garden in Stanhope Gardens with (presumably) children Richard and Dympna, shots from Finsbury Park and a family holiday by the sea.
The film was shot by Haringeyβs Davis family and found and donated by the new owner of the Davis family house. Bruce Castle Museum
