The Box is a major cultural and heritage attraction and archive, which opened in Plymouthβs city centre in September 2020. Its collection, formally the South West Film and Television Archive (SWFTA), is the regional film archive for the South West of England, comprising the combined programme libraries of Westward Television and Television South West (TSW). It also includes a significant number of donated film collections dating back to the early 1890s.

Overview
This 1950s film shows Eddie in his vintage car charging around the lanes of Braunton, North Devon. The comedy sketch was originally set to the music Opus No. 1. Opus One was composed in 1943 by Melvin James Sy Oliver and made hugely popular by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra in 1944. This film is part of the Coward Collection.
We are told about the state of the car in the second title: She was ancient worn and tattered And she had no youth to lend. But with Eddie at the wheel, She was game, Sir to the end.
