Filmmakers Jane Giles and Ali Catterall discuss their documentary Scala!!!, which looks back at the legendary cinema venue and the influence it had on a generation of artists in 1980s-1990s Britain. They also discuss some of the most notorious films that formed a key part of the cinema's programme (and which also can be found on BFI Player Subscription), such as City of Lost Souls, Christiane F. and the one-and-only Thundercrack!
