        Overview

A visit to Premier Mills, Bury, and the firm of Edward W. Andrew Ltd. Lorries deliver bales of cotton and wool - raw materials to be processed and woven into finished cloth. In the dusty air, workers move between the clattering machines; it is a very hands-on industry. Finally, the traditional ritual of clocking off marks the end of the working day.
