        Overview

Post-war life at the Halliwick Girls School sees the students whisked off by 'Uncles' of Southgate's Rotary Club. The day might have been tinged with DΓ©jΓ  vu for the girls, who would have only just returned from Devon, where they were evacuated during the war. The Halliwick Girls School was also where a swimming therapy called the Halliwick Concept, still used today, was developed.
