Overview

This demonstration during WW1 sees fire-fighters scaling the not so insignificant London Fire Brigade's headquarters in Southwark and displaying core apparatus such as detachable ladders and hoses. The Topical Budget cameras, which would distribute these newsreels across the country, only just manage to catch a glimpse of the wounded soldiers that were in attendance.
