Join rural postman Maurice Stout on his 25-mile route from Penrith, in the scenic but often challenging terrain around Ullswater. This is a 'small scale' service, but it is a vital lifeline for isolated customers, and Maurice's Royal Mail Post Bus carries both mail and grateful passengers, many of whom are heading for Penrith on market day.
