Overview

Mitchell & Kenyon more commonly filmed outside textile mills or engineering factories, so it's interesting to see them in a mining town. This film also sheds light on their techniques for filming departing workers. Several separate 'takes' capture varying combinations of men and boys exiting the site under the filmmakers' supervision. What shots reached the screen we'll probably never know.
