Overview
Syon House, built on the site of the 14th century Syon Monastery, briefly returns to its medieval roots as the setting for a hotly contested β and outright dangerous β jousting tournament. Beforehand, many colourful steam-powered machines are beautifully captured by amateur filmmaker Mr Poolman on an earlier visit to Syon House for the August bank holiday steam engine rally.
