Overview

Amongst the cakes and sausage rolls of Cosmeston Street, Cardiff, the running races, the fancy dress and the winning of two chamber pots, lurks an effigy of Hitler, tied to a lamp post, presumably for burning on the bonfires that have been prepared with gusto for the evening. There is also a fancy-dress Hitler wearing a sign reading ‘World’s Worst Dead or Alive?’. Shot by Chris Jenkins, a stalwart of the Cardiff Ciné Society and proprietor of a hair salon in Charles Street.
