Overview
This Punch and Judy film, showing the reactions of the watching children, was shot in Roath, Splott and Victoria Parks by Chris Jenkins - a stalwart of the Cardiff Ciné Society and proprietor of a hair salon in Charles Street. Its evident appeal won it the Amateur World Cine Plaque in 1946, a prize at the National Eisteddfod in Caerphilly in 1950, and a prize at the 16th South African Salon of International Photography for 8mm film in 1952.
