Overview

When young Suzy arrives in London, she is unwittingly plunged into the grim, sex and drugs-fuelled world of the groupie where tragedy is never far away. With its effective blend of gritty location work, flash-forward devices, and a soundtrack by acid folk legends Comus, Forever More and Titus Groan, Permissive is a dark British countercultural exploitation artefact, shot through with grim authenticity.

This title is also available on DVD / Blu-ray in the BFI’s Flipside collection.
