Overview
This 1966 film sheds light on the appalling housing conditions endured by a group of tenants in Islington and their decision to protest together and demand a better deal. With no narration or script, the film allows tenants to give their own account of intimidation and poor living conditions. A tenantsβ meeting is juxtaposed with images of individuals talking to camera and some shocking images of their housing conditions.
