Boulter Family Films: Christmas Party, Becontree (1964)
There’s tears of laughter followed by energetic dancing round the tinsel tree in this great film of a Christmas party in Becontree in 1964.

Overview
Part of the Boulter Family Films archive, this terrific home movie was shot at Tony Boulter’s mother's house in Becontree, where a Christmas party was thrown for neighbours. We get good shots of the decorations – lots of cards and a silver tinsel tree with big pink fairy – followed by extended scenes of raucous Christmas dancing and drinking, with behatted guests, crammed into front room, in tears of laughter. A lot of fun is had. Includes shots of children playing in garden.
