Overview
Crowds come to see the Duchess of Kent on her visit to Skelmersdale in Lancashire. The Duchess tours a new housing estate and talks to elderly residents and scouts, before attending an art exhibition, and a banquet in a sports hall. After the Duchess departs, the film concludes with a selection of sporting activities played in a local hall.
