Overview
Reporter Rob Whitehouse joins a group of moderate NUM delegates from Staffordshire on a trip to Sheffield where the miners strike is at its most solid. Amid allegations of a media bias there appears to be a united front behind Arthur Scargill and the strike. But with rumours of the army being called in and talks of Ian MacGregor of the National Coal Board being out to destroy the union, questions are being asked about why there has been no national ballot.
