Overview

After some footage of the India Gate Fountain and a quick trip down Kingsway, the majority of this home movie, shot by a Mrs Lord, focuses on the Jama Masjid, built by Shah Jahan. Made the year before Independence, the travelogue scenes sandwich some charmingly incongruous shots of Mrs Lord on a bicycle and her dog in human drag, and some black and white footage of a garden party.
