The Box is a major cultural and heritage attraction and archive, which opened in Plymouthβs city centre in September 2020. Its collection, formally the South West Film and Television Archive (SWFTA), is the regional film archive for the South West of England, comprising the combined programme libraries of Westward Television and Television South West (TSW). It also includes a significant number of donated film collections dating back to the early 1890s.

Overview
Not a witty tour up the River Thames but amusing nonetheless, a trio of Parsonsβ dogs including one called Rub are set adrift on an unwaterworthy craft on the pond. Itβs sink or swim. A Labrador retriever and two Jack Russells are playfully filmed sinking and retrieving a rubber duck.
The novel by Jerome K Jerome Three Men in a Boat (to say nothing of the dog), first published in 1889 has been depicted in television and film adaptations. The television series of the same name with comedians Griff Rhys Jones, Dara OβBriain and Rory McGrath sees the trio embark on the original route taken in Jeromeβs book from Kingston to Oxford along the Thames. In follow-up programmes they take their antics from London to the Isle of Wight, Plymouth to the Isles of Scilly and Dublin to Limerick with Daraβs greyhound Snip Nua.
