London in the Raw
Low-budget movie mogul Arnold Louis Miller concocted this exploitation-style documentary which peers behind the grimy net curtains of British life.
Director: Arnold Louis Miller
Overview
Influenced by the success of Italian βMondoβ movies, British low-budget movie mogul Arnold Louis Miller concocted this exploitation-style documentary. Peering behind the grimy net curtains of London life into seedy bars and clubs, and burrowing beneath the glittering faΓ§ade of the capitalβs glamorous cocktail lounges, London in the Raw presents a cynical, startling vision of life in 1960s London.
This title is also available on DVD / Blu-ray in the BFIβs Flipside collection.
