Overview

Ever wondered how a football is - well - was made? Or a cricket ball? Well, wonder no more. This intriguing short film puts the spotlight on the expert handiwork which made all those games of footie and cricket possible. Bits of leather are cut, shaped and sewn into perfect spheres ready for a kick-about, while cork and worsted get squeezed in a vice to produce a cricket ball.

The origin of the film is unknown but it's most likely an extract from a cinemagazine or newsreel.
