        Overview

A horse jump is blown up and the panes of glass in a window shattered as controlled explosions are carried out in a field, probably for Home Guard training purposes. The footage was shot by Aberaeron pharmacist Evan John Thomas who was much involved in civil defence and awarded an OBE in recognition of his services in this department.
