Knights Electric
Four rowdy teen punks tussle with the girls they fancy in this energetic pop music film shot on the seafront at Great Yarmouth.
Overview
Four rowdy punk teenage boys try it on with four girls they fancy one neon-lit evening at a Great Yarmouth seaside funfair. Meanwhile, the sharply-dressed Knights Electric watch and wait. Exuberantly performed and strikingly shot, this dialogue-free pop music short boasts a superb soundtrack, with great tracks by Madness, John Foxx, The Pretenders, Blondie, the Ruts and Martha and the Muffins.
Shot in 1980, this boisterous short supporting film played alongside Richard Loncraine's 1982 drama Brimstone and Treacle at UK cinemas.
