Overview

This ambitious amateur film looks at life in 1960s Shoreham, beginning with wintry scenes leading to Lifeboat Saturday. We see cheery bin-men at work as Morris Men and Country Dancers get into their stride. Gales lash Shoreham in May and the ATC holds its open-day. The Whitsun fΓͺte follows, Miss Round Table is elected and then singer Frankie Vaughan visits the town, to officially open the Junior Boy's Athletic Club's new canteen and to sign autographs.
