Overview

Meat and wheat and every kind of treat are being unloaded from cargo ships at Cardiff’s docks during WWII, ensuring that the allies won’t starve before the war is over. By the tonne, from around the world have come oranges, Idaho Cheddar Cheese, dried whole eggs, cling peaches, fruits for salad, spring wheat flour, canned salmon and butter. Steel bars, too, have reached their destination safely.
