Overview
Three decades have passed since Watford FC played at Wembley in the 1984 FA Cup Final. It was a landmark day for Hornets fans, following a year-on-year rise for their team from fourth to first division. Amateur filmmaker Patricia Markham captures on Super 8 Peruchrome the town's celebration with an open-top bus parade of the Golden Boys, cheered on by supporters lining the street, in addition to everyday scenes in and around Watford town and its public park Cassiobury.
Patricia Markham's amateur film begins with a slideshow of postcards and photo stills of Watford town and football team and continues with moving images captured on Super 8 Peruchrome.
