Overview
Solicitor Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) arrives at a remote coastal village to administer the affairs of the late Alice Drablow. Ignoring local stories of the vengeful 'woman in black', he stays overnight in the old woman's abandoned house, unwittingly setting off a series of terrifying events… This terrific adaptation of Susan Hill's gothic novel gave a resurrected Hammer its biggest hit yet.
