This Our Still Life
23-year-old Eden is shown drawing and painting still lifes in her Pyrenean family home.
Director: Andrew Kötting
Overview
Kötting’s touching portrait of his daughter Eden who was born with a rare neurological disease. Last seen as a kid in Gallivant, Eden, now a young woman of 23, is seen painting still lifes and singing along to the radio in the family’s tumbledown Pyrenean farmhouse as the seasons ebb and flow around her. Featuring music by Scanner’s Robin Rimbaud and a range of voices from Kötting’s sound archive.
