Overview

It’s 1977 and Essex County Cricket Club are in their heyday. Gerry Harrison, for Anglia Television, interviews two of the players, Team Captain (and the team’s best batsman - after Gooch, maybe) Keith Fletcher, and left-arm pace bowler, the ‘Cricketer’s Cricketer’, John Lever. Both are confident for the season ahead. We also see Keith Boyce, Kenny McEwan, Graham Martin, and Ray East.
