Overview
On 25 September 1921 Major General Sir Reginald Hoskins and the Bishop of Peterborough, Frank Woods lead a service to dedicate the 1914-'18 memorial cross in the town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire. 254 men did not return to the town and its smaller neighbours Great and Little Bowden from the nearly 2,000 'Harborough Boys' who bravely joined up and went to war. The town's memorial cross remains an enduring memory to the 254.
